Gridlock Tacticians is a strategy game that actually asks you to think. You command units across hex maps, manage supply lines, and try to bait the enemy into bad terrain. Matches can be paused any time, which is perfect for mobile since real life keeps interrupting.
The interface is dense but well organized. Pinch to zoom, tap to select, long-press for unit details. It took me a session to stop misfiring commands, but once it clicked it felt precise. Battery use is very reasonable because the visuals are clean rather than flashy.
If you want a strategy game you can dip into for one turn at a bus stop, this fits. Just know that the AI on higher difficulties will punish lazy play, in the best way.
